The Polar Platform structural model shown during preparation for the sinusoidal vibration qualification test on ESTEC's new Hydra hydraulic shaker. Work is underway by the prime contractor, Matra Marconi Space-Bristol, on the solar array dummy panel placed on the spacecraft's zenith face using the 'genie boom'.
