The logo was done from the Minister of the Scientific Research in occasion of the event called 'Astronomy week' from 7th to 14th April 2002.

During this week ESA and different schools will be in charge to divulgate and to communicate about the astronomy and about the spacial missions in general.
Different exhibits will be organised in Rome and all aroun the country.
The logo is the ufficial symbol of the event.
