    • Description

Flight 151 scheduled for 4 May 2002 (CET). Launch team personnel move the second half shell into position as the Spot 5 satellite is seen for the final time before its ride into space. On launch day, the fairing half shells will be jettisoned approximately four minutes into the flight once Ariane 4 has climbed through the atmosphere's heaviest layers. Spot 5 will then be ready for its injection into a 794 X 812 km orbit, inclined at 98.74 degrees.
