A shape memory alloy reinforced tubular stent-graft has been developed by Anson Medical to address abdominal aortic and thoracic aneurysms. A generic graft design allows for a range of straight, tapered and bifurcated anatomy. The unique properties of shape memory alloy allow the graft to be deployed only requiring a catheter, not full surgery, even in difficult cases.
