Description
The school of 46 pupils on Arranmore island (Ireland) is taking part in the SchoolSat trial. They have been equipped with a small satellite dish that allows them to send and receive information at a speed far faster than ISDN. They can connect to the Internet, share networks with other schools and transmit large files of information be it data, video, audio, or graphics.
