Range and integrity monitoring stations (RIMS) send data collected on GPS, GLONASS and EGNOS signals to a single processing centre which computes the corrections needed for each satellite and incorporates them into a signal. The EGNOS signal is then up-linked to the geostationary satellites which in turn broadcast it to EGNOS users equipped with specially designed EGNOS receivers.
