Description
In-situ observations of ice crystals and cloud droplets as sampled by the 2D-C probe in three different cloud situations during the EarthCARE Campaign over the East China Sea in the Spring of 2003.
The top image is of ice crystals in cirrus at 7400 m.
The middle image is of ice crystals in alto stratus (mixed phase) at 4100 m.
The bottom image is of large water droplets in lower level cumulus (mixed phase) during decent.
