This view of the interior slope and rim of 'Endurance Crater' comes from the navigation camera on NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity with an assist from the ESA's Mars Express.

Opportunity took the three frames that make up this image on 4 August 2004, then transmitted them with other data to Mars Express, which in turn relayed them to Earth.
