Carrying a total of 400 tonnes of spacecraft and additional equipment, the French cargo ship MN Toucan set sail for Kourou at around 15:30 CEST on Tuesday 17 July 2007. The first ATV, named Jules Verne, starts the long journey to Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.
