Batteries are placed inside Jules Verne ATV's Propulsion Module before mating with the spacecraft's pressurised module. The batteries are located on the walls of the Equipped Avionics Bay (EAB). All the main computers, batteries, thermal controllers and power conditioning and distribution units are located here, as well as the accelerometers and gyros. Jules Verne is being prepared for launch to the International Space Station at Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana. (1 December 2007)
