ESA and EUMETSAT signed on 20 July 2009 a Framework Agreement on the Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) Programme. The Agreement was signed by ESA Director General Jean-Jacques Dordain (left) and EUMETSAT Director General Lars Prahm.
