    • Description

      ‘30 St Mary Axe’, also known as the Gherkin, the Cucumber
      Building and the Swiss Re Building, is a London skyscraper, completed
      in December 2003. With 40 floors, the tower is 180 m tall and covered
      in a lattice of glass triangles – some 24 000 sq m of glass,
      corresponding to five rugby pitches.
