      Astro-H (also known as NeXT for New X-ray Telescope) is a planned X-ray astronomy satellite under development by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). It will explore the extreme Universe, studying high-energy phenomena around black holes and supernova explosions.
