      From the record 91 proposals submitted for the ESA Innovation Prize 2011 in the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC), the winner selected was the ‘twofloats’ system with a proximity service that tracks and tells registered users when they are close to each other. Members would never again miss an opportunity to meet. At the award ceremony 19 October 2011 from left: Ulrike Daniels (Business Development at AZO, the instigator of ESNC), Timo Friesland (twofloats), Dr Florian Odronitz (twofloats), Markus Otte (twofloats), Frank Salzgeber (Head of ESA’s Technology Transfer Programme Office) and Martin Raack (twofloats).
