      Ariane 5 flight VA208 was launched on Thursday 2 August at 22:54 CEST, carrying two telecommunications satellites: Intelsat 20 and Hylas-2. Including adapters, the total payload carried was 10 183 kg, which is a performance record for Ariane 5.
