Thermolab measures astronauts’ temperatures in space for experiments and monitors their health. Researchers on the ground can monitor temperatures continuously while the astronauts keep their hands free to continue work.

ThermoLab uses two sensors attached to the forehead and chest and a control box to calculate the body temperature.

The system was proven in space and is now being used in hospitals and firefighters.
